Dog Friendly Camping in Devon at Quarry Pods
As one of the dog friendly campsites in Devon, Close by, our doggy guests and their owners also enjoy the benefit of 23 acres of private woodland/nature reserve which is securely fenced and you can walk without disturbance, just enjoying the many species of birds and butterflies you will encounter.
We have paths laid out with seating down by our wildlife pond. This woodland adjoins the Dunsdon National Nature Reserve and is a haven for rare flora and fauna.
The Hive is our pet friendly camping pod, and we accept one dog (well behaved !) making an additional charge of £10.00 per stay, payable at time of booking. We only ask that dogs are kept under control at all times and that all mess is properly cleared up.

Dogs and Their Owners - Things to Do
Devon and Cornwall are very dog friendly counties, dogs are allowed in many of the pubs in the locality and most of the beaches welcome dogs all year round. (certain beaches and times may require dogs to be on leads).
Many of the local attractions make provision for dogs, and dogs are welcome in the grounds of most of the National Trust properties within Devon and Cornwall.
Walking Your Dog Locally
Adjoining Dunsdon Farm is the Dunsdon National Nature Reserve (which welcomes dogs on leads), and within ½ mile both ways from the farm you can walk the Bude Canal or drive the short distance to the coast where you have the beautiful coastal path and beaches, or take a trip inland to the moors of Dartmoor (17 miles) and Bodmin (27miles).
