What a great time we had a fun day out for all the family - Morwellham Quay is was sunny on the day we arrived, the kids were so excited and the boys in particular were looking forward to going down into the George and Charlotte copper mine – dark and damp bit well worth the trip.

It was great with an interactive living history, a highlight of the trip was the narrow-gauge Mine Railway, traveling along the banks of the River Tamar before venturing deep underground to experience the harsh working conditions of Victorian miners.
Jasmine had great fun trying on the costumes and look like a Victorian lady, and we particularly loved the old school and farm.

The only slight let down was the food – but we coped!

We would all thoroughly recommend Morwhellam Quay for a family day out – loved it!!
